Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Effective April 22, 2026 · Version 1.0
This Cookie Policy supplements our Privacy Policy and explains how ManageBee uses cookies, local storage, session tokens, and similar technologies (collectively, "cookies") on our websites and in our applications.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site's operators. We also use similar technologies such as browser local storage and session tokens, which we refer to collectively as "cookies" in this policy for simplicity.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the website and application to function and cannot be disabled in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions you take, such as logging in, filling in forms, or setting privacy preferences. Disabling these will cause parts of the site not to work. Examples: authentication session tokens, CSRF tokens, load-balancer routing cookies.
Preference cookies
These cookies remember choices you make — such as your language, your dashboard layout, or whether you've dismissed an onboarding tour — so we don't ask you again on the next visit. Examples: sidebar collapsed state, onboarding progress, recently viewed workspaces.
Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the site and application so we can improve performance and prioritize new features. They collect aggregate, anonymized information. Examples: page view counts, feature usage events, error reports.
Marketing cookies
On our public marketing pages (managebee.com, blog, documentation), we may use cookies to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and to show you relevant content. Examples: campaign attribution, conversion tracking. We do not use marketing cookies inside the authenticated ManageBee application.
3. How to control cookies
Cookie consent
If you visit our site from a jurisdiction that requires active consent (EU, UK, California, and others), we will request consent before placing non-essential cookies. Where a consent banner is required, we will display one and remember your choice for at least 12 months. You can always update your choice by contacting privacy@managebee.com or by adjusting your browser settings (see "Browser controls" below).
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
ManageBee honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information under applicable US state privacy laws, and we automatically decline non-essential cookies.
Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. See the help documentation for your browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) for specifics. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging into the ManageBee application.
4. Do Not Track
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no industry-standard definition of what DNT means, and we do not currently respond to DNT signals. We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as described above.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and, for significant changes, via email to active account holders. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
